Why I Changed And Why Should You Do Too!

I know it might sound counterintuitive but, ignoring the rest truly helps.

I mean it.

I personally used to compare myself a lot to my peers and what every they were doing.

If they made some sales,

If they bought a new care,

If they were traveling, etc etc

Eventually I would start feeling down and depressed.

Almost feeling like “what’s the point of even trying, if everything i try doesn’t actualize into anything worthwhile” and this went on for year (at least a decade).

But then something caught my attention and totally shifted my perspective in life,…

I read in the bible the following verse;

“Do not become envious of wicked people. For there will prove to be no future for anyone bad; the very lamp of wicked people will be extinguished.” —Ps. 37:1, 2; Prov. 24:19, 20.

Now you might be thinking,…

Are you serious that successful people are wicked?

Or maybe that; “you are not envious of wicked people!?”…

From the surface those people seem fine, normal, and not a bad person.

But ask yourself this;

• Are they contributing true meaning to people lives?

• Are they truly making this world a better place?

• Are they a person who truly cares for others?
  
  OR have you seen them more focused on;

• Showing off their possessions?

• Showing how much money they have?

• Only express an uncontrollable appetite for more and more and never having enough?

If you look carefully to the “guru” and common “young entrepreneurs” nowadays, the second description bullets is mostly what you see.

They don’t care about anyone but themselves, their ego, and their pride. They have no shame either and telling this to the world either.

So my point for telling you this is simple,…

I look at myself and I know that is not who i am.

And I’m not going to be a blind goat like them.

My point is this…

If you want the world to be a better place and you want to make a bigger impact in a positive way and be part of something bigger than just YOU… It starts with your heart.

Where is your heart inclined, Is it more toward egotistical and greedy gains or in truly helping those who wants to be part of a community who truly supports each other?

Think carefully about it and meditate on it.

Don’t get it twisted, helping is NOT to give everything for free because that only degrades people’s purpose and self respect in life.

Rather give others a new meaning to their true purpose in life.

The world as we know it sucks, it’s hard, and full of problems.

While others live a selfish life and turn a blind eye to injustices happening all around us and also doing this online deceiving hard working solopreneurs out of their money,

You can be a change for the better in this world.

Make an effort to ignore them and do not contribute to their rise or popularity.

Focus on helping other with your skill, your ideas, your expertise.
