Christmas is basically here and New Years eve in 6 days.
Most will spend their time, money, and effort focusing on celebrating because it’s what everyone does.
You kinda go with the flow forgetting that last year you’ve already been here, done that, and said that 2024 was going to be different.
But was it truly? Was 2024 truly different?
Well I used to lie to myself as well.
Even Though I had at the back of my mind “I needed to build my own business” I always postponed it and distracted myself with freelance work.
Work that provided income but also became an excuse for NOT building my own stuff.
But it bothered me a lot.
Main painful experience was seeing how whomever you worked for project wise was always transactional focused.
The priority for them was their was not long term, it’s always shorterm.
And no matter how much work you do, no matter how the work is done, no matter how much they earn,… in the end it’s NEVER enough.
So you end up realizing you’re just a slave to them, to their unrealistic desires, and their systems.
That hurts because you quickly realize you’re building others dreams and aspiration while yours stays on the back burner.
And believe me it’s the worst feeling ever.
Seeing others win at your expense while you’re losing.
Seeing others grow at your expense while you’re stuck.
Seeing others live live at your expense while you’re stressed.
I hated myself seeing that every day.
But it wasn’t the end.
Making the mistake of depending on others to find yourself path in life is NOT an excuse to give up.
If you are in the same position you were 2023 — consider it a mistake.
Something you’ve overlooked, or bad decision made, or lack of consistency…
But you can not quit on your dreams.
You just have to shift your perspective and collaborate with people who constantly moves forward.
We have about a week left to go before 2025.
If you want to make 2025 different, better, and more inspiring.
You need start.
You need to make a decision to excuse without overthinking things.
Forget Chatgpt.
Forget who’s looking.
Forget perfecting things.
Just share your idea, plans, and perspective openly.
This is what make it personal and unique to you 2025.
