The reality is I’ve been very busy, but the business is actually a distraction.
It sucks when other stuff takes away from your intended goal.
But sometimes reality hits, in which,
“you gotta do what you gotta do”
to make it in life.
So what happened was…
I landed a gig as a marketing director for a car dealership, which paid very well.
In my mind, was that i can leverage their stuff to grow my brand and business because I’ll be directing, filming, creating social campaigns, driving cool car,s etc etc
But those ideas had a problem.
The only problem was i needed to be in-person the whole time to manage others.
It sucks, as it wasn’t my intention.
And my personal online business suffers.
And to be honest, it didn’t go as I intended it would as managing project and people ain’t easy.
So I’m asking you.
What do you do if an opportunity presents itself where you can easily snatch a $5k+ p/mo, but it wasn’t the thing you were expecting…
Would you keep yourself on track to build what you want?
Or
Would you quit and just stick to what you’re doing?
Because for me it kinda messed up my YouTube streak and sucked all my time.
But on the other hand, I’m also seeing other ways I can incorporate the gig as part of my YouTube journey.
Because I’ve worked so hard to come so far as a digital nomad, to end up giving it up just because I got myself into a gig that has vague agreement terms.
So right now, I’m leveraging what they have,
no matter what.
As I’m slowly but surely cooking something, where I can be more raw in my journey and document my personal perspective on unexpected things that present themselves in life and business.
Because I know you might be experiencing the same challenges.
I already saw many start with me and have quit along the way as life have thrown them various curve balls to the point of them no longer want to build their dream lifestyle.
And i know they did it because they don’t have perspective on how to deal with unexpected life situations and that is why I’m here.
